Davidson Union Hospital and Prairie View Lodge amalgamated in December 2000 to become the Davidson Health Center. The newly constructed integrated facility houses 40 long term care residents, two acute care beds, six program beds offering palliative, convalescent, respite, day/night care services. Care for the patients and residents at the health center, is provided by 70 professional and non-professional staff. Davidson employ's a sole practice physician supported on call, by physicians in Craik and Imperial. Homecare, Adult counseling and Public Health are also part of the integrated facility providing services to the community of Davidson and surrounding areas. Lab and EMS professionals are available 24 hrs/7days a week.
