We are proud to deliver reverse osmosis water from a new treatment plant built in 2006! 

GARBAGE DISPOSAL

Residential - Weekly - Thursday
Commercial - Twice Weekly - Monday & Thursday

The maximum weekly residential pick up is 3 garbage bags of household waste only. Will not pick up any materials that can be composted.

Compost: (Closed for the Winter Season)

• Compost Site located due south of Communiplex (past rodeo grounds)
• During Open Season: Wednesday and Sunday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Compostible materials only
• Interlake/Sarcan will pick up bagged compost materials on Wednesdays. Cost: $1 per bag. Call Krista @ Sarcan - 567-4708 and leave message if you have compostibles to pick up.

LANDFILL HOURS

(In effect from
May 27th – October 31st)

• Monday                               12:00 noon – 7 pm
  
• Thursday                             12:00 noon – 7 pm
  
• Saturday                              12:00 noon – 4 pm
  
• Sunday                                 12:00 noon – 3 pm

Please remember to place metal in the designated location.  

All trees and other wood are to go into the main pit until further notice. 

Please call the Town Office at 567-2040 for directions to the landfill.

RECYCLING

Green Loraas Bins located on the corner of Railway Street and Grant Street for cardboard, tins, newspaper, and office paper.
